We're building a proposal management platform for anyone doing business with the Federal government. Not sexy by any means, but a stable, large market without a ton of competition. Over the past ten months, we've done extensive customer development to really understand the process and all the problems associated with it. We're now moving to build the MVP and have a couple company's already interested. That said, we're looking for an experienced sales closer to fill out our initial team. This person will be in on the ground floor and get to learn about product, fundraising, strategy, and a whole host of other functions. This is an opportunity to take the ball and run with it. He/she should have experience with prospecting, lead generation, qualifying, pitching and closing. We're working with a consultant from CEB to implement their Challenger Sales model, which was born out of the recession and has shown tremendous results when implemented properly.
