The RTA Summer Academy's mission is twofold:

First, to give gifted young students real life, hands-on experience in an entrepreneurial setting to which they would otherwise not have access.

Second, to leverage the resources of the school community, including space that would otherwise go unused and its alumni, to give start-ups from around the NYC area access to the tools, manpower and resources needed to facilitate growth, successfully launch and generate new job creation.

We are unique from all other incubators in a few major ways: First, the RTA takes no compensation from its participants -- no equity, no warrants, no cash, no converts -- nothing. Second, all interns are recent graduates that are getting hands-on experience to which they might not otherwise have access in an entrepreneurial setting with innovative and fast-growing companies.
