Recurrent Labs is building an open protocol and platform
for Artist-owned music distribution networks - together, Currents.

**The Problem**

- Artists make the vast majority of their income in-person via show, merch, etc. Online, they make a tiny fraction of that.
- The in-person relationships through which music is shared and audiences are grown is largely disconnected from digital revenue streams and is not scalable.

**The Goal**

- Currents aims to increase digital Artist revenue to match in-person income by setting physical relationships as the foundation for digital income.

**The Product**

- We are building a web app and physical prototype to bridge the gap between physical trust connections and digital distribution.
