The first generation of Replica will be compatible with digital POS registers. Merchants will purchase the Replica software and load it on their company registers accordingly. Similarly, consumers will download the Replica app onto their smartphone. Once a transaction is complete the customer can opt for an e-receipt. Subsequently a inquire receipt QR code will be populated on the register screen. The customer will then open the Replica app on their smartphone and scan the QR code for an instant e-receipt on their device.

The application will not only reduce receipt paper expenditures and associated environmental impacts, it's GUI will allow for streamline financial oversight and tax accounting for both businesses and consumers.
