Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled full stack NodeJS and React software developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using the PERN stack and GraphQL.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using React (NextJS or GatsbyJS), Typescript, Node.js, Express and GraphQL.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code using design patterns and secure development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and desired outcomes.
• Support a small but mighty engineering team willing to wear many hats.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development using Node.js and React.
• Demonstrated experience with GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.
• Experience with React or similar frontend JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design and development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GCP, AWS, and/or other cloud providers.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and TerraForm.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Comfortable in a start-up-like, dynamic environment where everyone takes ownership.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
