OUR VISION We're building the best way to stay in touch with close friends, family and significant other. Traditional messaging doesn't fulfill all the communication needs that we have to feel closeness with the people we care for the most. Chatting with someone close to us requires a different approach. We need to feel particularly connected in more ways than just text. Seeing them, their context, their body language, are all important communication cues that allow us to fully connect with the people we share with the most. All this contained within the practical environment that is instant messaging. COMPANY CULTURE As a team, we like to be very fast, extremely hard working, and creative. We're never married to any one particular feature or idea. We're always in a process of exploration and reevaluation of our own assumptions. We maintain a positive attitude and an open mind, but extremely focused on our goal. EARLY TRACTION We've been in beta for the past 10 months, with plans to launch version 1.0 in early 2015. We launched without the expectation of traction, and organically gathered more than 200k beta registered users. With zero marketing.
