Jobs at Ration

At Ration, we are building a way for people to share and consume information that protects our consumers’ time and treats their attention with the respect it deserves. We are a tiny team with diverse backgrounds and passions trying to tackle a huge problem. We all want credible, rational humans to help us discover content worthy of our time. We are building the tools to make that happen. When considering new features, we will be thoughtful about how it might gamify the user’s attention or otherwise work against their best interests. We hope that these choices will provide space for curators to post what they like, and for consumers to view content without feeling judged. Our metrics for success will be based upon providing maximum value to consumers, as opposed to encouraging more time spent on the platform. We want our users to create media consumption habits that they are proud of. We also hope to build tools to encourage intentional consumption and discourage obsessive behaviors.
