Rangeway Energy is building premium EV charging destinations along America's scenic highways, where charging becomes part of your journey.

The problem is stark: 73% of EV drivers rate current charging experiences as 'poor' or 'very poor,' and 57% avoid scenic routes due to charging anxiety. While EV adoption accelerates (California hit 25% of new vehicle sales in 2024), America's most beautiful corridors remain critically underserved. Existing chargers leave drivers standing in parking lots for 30+ minutes with unreliable power, no amenities, and inadequate maintenance.

We're solving this with a hospitality-first approach. Our hub-satellite operational model clusters locations around regional Basecamps (full café, staffed operations, maintenance bay) that support 2-3 automated Waystations within 150 miles. Every location guarantees climate-controlled indoor lounges, clean restrooms, and quality amenities. We target 99% uptime at Basecamps and 98% at Waystations, with ~2 hour satellite response times.
Our strategic advantage is threefold: the hub-satellite model creates operational leverage competitors can't replicate without similar infrastructure investment, we're securing prime real estate along scenic corridors before others, and we think like hoteliers rather than utility companies.

As Community Director of Bay Area Rivian Club and co-founder of NorCal EVs, Zak understands charging pain points firsthand. Our team includes fractional CMO Theo Reichgelt (founder of Europe's leading eMobility marketing agency, Nexxt Industry) and advisors from Tesla, Rivian, and European charging networks.
