We are a Los Angeles based drone startup co-founded in 2017 by an aerospace engineer and a former investment banker.

Our engineering team brings expertise in aerospace, robotics, and computer vision from leading institutions such as USC, UPenn, Loyola Marymount and Georgia Tech.

At Radii Robotics, we are developing an aerial robotics platform for the comprehensive
inspection of large commercial structures. We are focused on inspecting wind turbines, which are subject to structural damage due to heavy usage and harsh operating climates.

A comprehensive inspection requires both visual and sub-surface scanning. Current lack of automation leads to both extended downtime and high inspection cost. Our technology enables our platform to make surface contact – like a hand holding a NDT probe, and autonomously scan the entire structure to detect both visual and hidden defects. Early detection of defects results in improved performance, safety, and equipment lifespan.
