Quilt's mission is to define the standard unit of enterprise data, so that people and machines can learn faster. We believe that data should be managed like source code (with packaging, versioning, compilation, linting, and more). Our pilot customers are Fortune 500s who find that Quilt makes their data discoverable, reproducible, and auditable. We're a small team of engineers who care deeply about code quality and user experience. We believe that data packages are the future of data management, and we're actively defining the package standard through our open source projects.
