Upon receiving signals from the person in water, our drone flies directly over to the person in water and releases a floatation device. A wearable emergency device sends out ‘SOS’ signal along with its GPS location wirelessly to the lifeguard drone. In addition, lifeguard drones could monitor water to detect drowning people by video and image analysis.

Additional advantages include:
· Drastically cutting the time by at least 75% in search and rescue; thereby increasing the rescuing success rate.
· Our versatile payload is like a Swiss army knife, which could carry and drop other devices: e.g. a warmer to fight hypothermia, a radio, or shark repellent.
· It could send live video stream back about the situation in water.
· It could hover above the drowning person to give the rescuer a clear indication of the whereabouts of the target.
· It could carry a speaker so the rescuer could talk directly to anyone in water.
