Jobs at Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing

PEP brings together the largest collection of psychoanalytic and psychotherapeutic journals, books, and videos for a diverse community of readers. Our subscribers are academics, therapists, students, and the general public interested in issues relating to the study of the mind from the psychoanalytic perspective. Unlike other digital publishers of scientific journals, PEP was designed and continues to be under the leadership of academics and analysts: it is a tool designed by analysts for analysts. This means that the platform is designed to integrate the collection, so that all articles, books, and videos are not just fully free-text searchable but also cross-referenced by hyperlinks. Key to our collection is Freud's collected works, which we have in German and in the English translation (cross-linked by paragraph). The reader is therefore encouraged to actively explore the collection and is shown materials relevant to their interest. The archive as a whole preserves psychoanalytic literature and makes it available to a community of interested readers around the world. However, PEP is focused not just on expanding the collection, getting rights to more journals, books, and videos; it also invests in new video projects to be hosted on the platform.
