• Lead design of battery subsystems, modules, and component systems from concept through launch
• Contribute to architecture decisions with a focus on cost, mass, lifetime performance, and manufacturability

• Manage the day-to-day operation of our cell cycling and characterization lab. Troubleshoot cell cycling lab issues as they arise.
• Propose, execute, and analyze cell level testing projects for the purposes of characterization and cycle life.

• Own the specifications, methodology, setup, execution, and reporting of electrical safety and abuse tests on high voltage battery packs, sub-systems, and components.
• Adapt and develop test equipment for increased fidelity, repeatability, and new product requirements.

• Own all aspects of software, characterization, and performance tests on high voltage battery packs and sub-systems.
• Own all aspects of the technology stack of the Proterra Technology Lab including HV battery firmware, test station architecture, and automation.
