Prompt careers

Prompt is a modern command-line terminal, built on new technology, that supports persistent sessions, universal history search, rich UI rendering, and terminal sharing.

The command-line is used by tens of millions of developers every day to run hundreds of millions of commands. And yet, the terminal interface was designed over 40-years ago, before the internet, personal computers, and the GUI. Prompt is a new terminal, built on new technology, that moves the smarts of the shell into the terminal (while still retaining full compatibility with all existing commands and scripts). This allows Prompt to deliever new team and productivity features like shared terminal sessions, universal history search, persistent sessions, and integrated playbooks.

We see the command-line as a hub for individual developers and teams. We're building Prompt to be a platform for connecting, not just command-line, but all developer services (databases, APIs, REST services, SaaS services) under one flexible application. Prompt is currently available for MacOS, but will be released for Windows and Linux in the future.
