Process First uses technology to create persistent health - sustainable outcomes based in food, health and climate.

Our current focus is the food system's intersection with health care and sustainability. The the problems we face cannot be fixed by addressing symptoms. Food is critical to health and has significant ecological impact. We must rebuild our food system to account for both its immense value as well as the costs incurred in its production, delivery and consumption.

To get there we have developed a data model that supports data integration across the food system. A fully integrated food system can support innovation and the tracking of metrics required to improve community and ecological health, create climate resilience and lower the barriers to entry for local food.

Our approach to these problems looks like a hybrid of a consulting firm and a startup. In order to work on the most pressing problems, we focus on partnerships with foundations and non-profits to create access to people, knowledge, skills and resources needed to tackle oversized problems. The technical requirements, size of the system and the ROI timelines makes this work outside of the normal fit for non-profits and the startup community.

As we reach those initial goals, we have a team ready to accelerate through the hardest phase of a startup, launching products or spinning out a company as best fits the the need.
