We have developed a proprietary method that takes into account a buyer’s acquisition thesis using their target locations, types of businesses, deal sizes sought, industries and detailed descriptions.

Buyers also share information about their past work experience and areas of expertise. We use a machine learning algorithm that matches buyers with business brokers and deals based on their criteria and adjusted for each buyer’s unique prioritization of the various deal factors.

We then use a machine learning algorithm to pipe data from our database and receive predictions with accuracy scores and reasons, so that our matching system is explainable.

As we continue our development, our model will expand to encompass the entire deal process. Private Market Labs will be the thread that connects the disparate pieces of the small business M&A process together for the first time.
