Primo Wind builds patented micro wind turbines that produce usable power in common wind speeds. Paired with a proprietary generator Primo delivers power where others don’t. The high torque, drag design operates at lower RPMs so is quieter and bird safe.

Primo Wind turbines solve the issues of previous small wind turbines by generating power at common wind speeds of 5-20 mph. According to Stanford University, the global average wind speed is about 15mph at 10 meters. Primo has a smaller footprint than our competitors. Our pole mount is only 25 feet tall and is easily raised on a cantilevered mount. Competitive turbines are 60-80’+ with an extended ground diameter with guy wires.
