So many recipes get passed down from generation to generation, but never make their way outside of the family for everyone to try. What a shame! Preparie aims to break that norm by giving home chefs the tools they need to kick start their own chef-from-home dreams.

Opening your own restaurant requires a significant capital investment, not to mention the business savvy and risk involved. Preparie allows people who have always dreamed of sharing their recipes with the world to kick start their restaurant business with minimal barrier to entry.

While services to allow people to sell their recipes and meals from home exist (e.g., shef.com), our solution is a bit more targeted toward food prep. The food prep industry continues to grow and people are continuing to seek out opportunities for side income. Preparie is targeted toward working professionals who are busy with their career and life, but still looking to maintain a diverse, healthy lifestyle.
