Prenda makes it easy for people to open K-8 microschools in their communities. It's the future of public education: personalized, tech-enabled, mastery-based, collaborative, and intensely creative, unlocking passion and genuine engagement in kids.

Our model is enabled by rethinking the definitions of school (a group that learns together, rather than a physical building) and educator (an adult who cares deeply about helping kids learn, rather than a specific set of credentials).

Parents are frustrated by an outdated and often underperforming education system. Public schools are mediocre or worse, especially in rural communities. Charter schools implement the factory model (more efficiently), and they can only reach so many kids. Online school and homeschool lack peer engagement and place too large a burden on parents. Prenda is a new option that can easily scale wherever there are passionate people who care about helping the kids in their community become learners.
