Powow careers

Powow is mobile (Android / iOS) application to discover, communicate and connect with people, places and activities via conversations. It is decentralised, implicit, geo-located communication channel for localities.

In 21st century, people no longer spend major chunks of their lifetime at one location and so, the existing methods of building communities in a way that expects people to be at one place for most of the time doesn’t work. Every time someone decides to move, they have to update their location, settings and details followed by hours, even days, worth of time browsing through gazillion of online communities to discover interesting people, places and events that exist. But, inherently an actual physical community exists around us wherever we go.

Powow is location based mapping of real world identity to online identity, which will enable a community where anyone can directly connect, share or communicate with their desired locality bypassing entire hassle of intermediaries.
