PowerMove is in an extremely niche market at the intersection of fitness, video games, and kids’ products. Our mission is to solve the problem of childhood obesity and the negative health effects of sedentary screen time. Our company culture reflects this problem we are solving, as mental and physical health are important to us. As a small team, we value the importance of each team member having a voice. We work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where each team member is expected to be innovative, hard-working, resilient, and passionate about what they are working on. We take value in team members working on what they are passionate about, as that will inspire them to work harder and more efficiently. While we are extremely collaborative, we also expect each member to be self motivated and timely when responding to emails, etc. Company culture is valuable to us, as we enjoy each other’s company and respect everyone. We are based out of San Luis Obispo and value meeting in person. However, we are open to virtual/hybrid work.
