Postly is a fresh take on social networking. It’s a privacy focused micro-network that let’s you share intimately with your close friends/family. Postly was born out of the simple idea that there had to be a better way for people to share content with close friends than the blasted newsfeed or the free for all madness of a messenger. Today’s dominate social networks have created an astounding amount of noise and irrelevancy by forcing content into algorithmically sorted newsfeeds. With the past election, the world has woken-up to the negative effects of algorithmic sorting and the aggregation of posts into a singular feed. Studies today show that there has been a significant decline in personal sharing on major social networks. We are looking to fill the void that Facebook has left over time. Over time threads, groups, and stories become a mini journal of content you’ve shared with the people closest to you. No other social network provides this in a simple and private environment.
