portea brings the gatehouse and the administration of a residential complex together in one app, for complexes in Colombia and Mexico.

Residents authorize visitors with a QR code from their phone and answer the intercom without phone calls; packages and deliveries are logged with a photo; every entry is recorded in a digital access log. Property managers get a web dashboard with reports, announcements with read receipts, maintenance requests, amenity bookings, owners' assemblies and online fee collection, with the money going straight to the complex's bank account.

Arturo IA, optional, is an AI-assisted gatehouse service from our partner Portero Seguro: it answers the intercom 24/7 and opens only with the resident's authorization. It is a gatehouse service, not a security or guarding service.

Public prices and no long-term contracts. portea was founded in Medellin in 2026 by Kevin Daza and Santiago Vanegas, and won The Most Disruptive Idea of the Year at the Digital Evolution Awards (DEVA) 2026, chosen by community vote.
