Plume Labs careers
Smog kills 7 million people every year, including 200,000 in the US alone. Plume Labs helps active urban consumers avoid air pollution to improve their health and wellness.
We build a personal, wearable air quality sensor to help you track and avoid pollutants at home and on the go (PM2.5, NOx, VOCs). We're making air quality actionable: our mobile app uses proprietary ML models to forecast live air quality levels, and 73% of surveyed users report changing their routine to avoid smog.
Our users form a mesh network of sensors to crowdsource hyperlocal data. We monetize it as maps and services to corporates (e.g. we are testing smog rebates for ride-sharing with Uber in EU) and governments.
Plume Labs raised $4M in seed funding and grants so far. We are a StartX company with MIT/Stanford founders and a team of 20 in Paris, France and New York City.
