In the Planthae Protocol we are proposing a peer to peer network to decentralize the exchange of relevant ambiental information and economical/financial value to fight climate change based on CO2 sequestration & other important ambiental services through an online platform that transacts non fungible digital assets (NFTs). We do this by using a public blockchain that links these digital assets to physical spaces and projects that are happening in the real world. We take advantage of the qualities of blockchain technology to guarantee certainty, proper validation, data maintenance and DApps creation to encourage interactivity with all users of the model. Within the Planthae Protocol we know that we can legitimize the idea that ambiental recovery and regeneration can be a profitable and competitive economic activity from a “real people marketplace” standpoint; without the need for intermediaries, governments, organizations or spokespersons. We are providing tools for anyone to combat climate change through clear and long term actions; so we can provide public, transparent and incorruptible results with assets that create value for all stakeholders.
