Pimmr is a new company with a brand new idea. We are well funded and have several healthy and realistic business models. We’re dynamic, motivated and embrace an open culture with zero politics. We follow the lean startup methodology and apply Agile development and design processes. We have a team of smart people and we like to have fun while building the things we believe in, because life is too short to waste time on mediocre experiences. The technical 'why' of Pimmr We build on both proven and bleeding edge technologies, methodologies and principles. We apply CQRS and Event Sourcing principles in a micro-services architecture. We have a mobile-first approach, where we use React (Native) and TypeScript to add some sanity to our HTML5/JavaScript (ES6) app. For our backend systems we use JavaScript, Java and Go. For persistence we mainly use PostgreSQL, all managed with Docker containers. The quality is kept to a high standard and maintained using our Continuous Integration build system to run our tests and we apply code reviews to all feature branches.
