“The Dutch BlablaCar for packages” Hypothetically: What if Peter, who goes from Leeuwarden to Zwolle every day for work and would be willing to make some extra money by picking up package X on his daily commute. This package X would almost be delivered Green (Co2 neutral) AND Peter would get some extra cash to compensate on his own gass costs. Students, employees, Green fanatics all of them could have a positive effect on reducing our national express logistics and earn some money aside.. While the sharing economy is everywhere, houses-cars-knowledge-tools-boats etcetc, why aren’t we sharing this one important thing: our daily movements from point A to B? Millions of people move (routinely) across the country every day and thousands of companies move goods & packages every day. What if we could match these two?! That is in short what PickThisUp is all about. A crowd sourced delivery service for businesses & consumers. Where we pro-actively match people movements with packages.
