Photomadic was born in a garage in Springfield, Missouri back in February of 2012. With a $3,000 loan, a few sheets of plywood and some used camera equipment, we bootstrapped our way to $1.4M annual revenue in 3 years by renting the first ever social media photo booth to events all around the country. But instead of riding that wave, we took our profits and built a technology to power the next generation of products that will need scaleable photo/video solutions. Of course, before we power one hundred products, we have to start with one. So in 2018 we sold our rental business and launched our Platform's first product called Wave. It's a cloud-based, iPad powered photo booth that's saving businesses thousands of dollars a month, and it's also the key ingredient for our plan to build a global network of interactive devices that can be leveraged by sponsors and advertisers. It's an exciting first step for our platform, and it's our team's main focus right now. Even though we've been around for a while, we feel like we're just starting, and in a lot of ways we are. As we build our team and start this new journey, there's a few important values that are core to who we are, and who we want to become.
