Late in 2018, Perimeter transformed itself. We went from your classic development studio to launching our very first product: the Export Connect and Trade Insights platforms. The story behind this transformation is an interesting one and involved acquiring our own client (Getting to Global) and signing long-term partnerships with companies including Google, Facebook, Alibaba, and launching projects to deploy our technology with governments and organizations in the US, Canada, Dubai, and Switzerland. We are now completing our transition and focusing entirely on our new mission: Creating equal opportunity for all. For us, that means creating tools that helps a manufacturer of solar panels in Wisconsin find new markets in Asia while helping a small group of women entrepreneurs in Boffa, Senegal start selling their craft online. We believe in creating bridges. We believe in creating meaningful connections between cultures through global trade. We believe in the power and creativity of entrepreneurs. Our small team is already incredibly diverse. We come from 8 different countries, speak 8 different languages but somehow still manage to find a restaurant that works for everyone.
