PeopleFund is Korea's first P2P lending platform that partnered with a Tier 1 Bank to process all loans through a bank-integrated system.

PeopleFund started with an underlying question of the Korean middle class: 'Why is borrowing rate significantly higher than 2% of deposit interest rate?' Savings bank and private lenders are promoting loans at interest rate of more than 20%, while remaining balance of household debt has already surpassed KRW 1.1 trillion. As such, PeopleFund was established to transform and innovate the financial market by integrating finance and technology.

PeopleFund's innovation in finance focuses on providing practical values to the customers. We believe transformation in finance starts with reducing operation cost and giving it back to the customers by making commercial bank loans with competitive interest rates available online, automating calculation of personal interest rates in 40 seconds through real-time processing of national financial data, etc.
