As passionate gamers ourselves, we have experienced how gaming can be valuable far beyond entertainment. For us, gaming has been an integral part of growing up: enabling us to learn about complex strategic choices, logical reasoning, improving foreign language skills, efficient communication, the importance of teamwork, as well as connecting with people and cultures across the world. In other words, gaming played a key part in shaping our childhoods; and in matter of fact, gaming still affects us very much. We now embark on a mission to continue using gaming and technology to let people and gamers socialize, be physically active (with geolocated content), and engage in brain-fueling cognitive challenges.
