Patience Finance careers

Patience is designed to build a community of retail investors focused on education and collective success through a social investment app. We have built upon the mobile investment standard, Robinhood, and created a suite of tools that let users learn, plan, trade, and review, all in one place, without the traditional time commitment or stress of creating and managing an informed and well-researched portfolio.

Patience is led by John Kealy, a senior backend developer with ~15 years of experience in EdTech and FinTech, and Will Host, a 19-year-old "dorm-room" founder who has historically demonstrated exceptional drive and work ethic. Will and John's leadership has been invaluable to our team dynamic and the subsequent development of our prototype. The companies marketing efforts are directed by Sam Arnold, another young entrepreneur and fellow student of Will's at UCSB.

Our primary advantage is our personal connection to the inefficiency of today's offerings and our understanding of humans' core values. We're in the business of people, their priorities, and their time. When you search "What do humans value most?" you'll find that community, financial security, and personal growth are among the top six results. We want to build a community focused on personal growth and the journey towards financial security through disciplined and strategic investing. Just as importantly, we know that family and relationships lead the list above those three values. We don't want our users to compromise their relationships or growth elsewhere in their lives because they spend all their time obsessing over their investments. Speeding up trade execution is today's industry standard, but we want to provide a suite of tools that require users to be thoughtful, patient, and strategic about those trades. We have experienced the stress, frustration, and financial losses of trading without such principles and are dedicated to bringing a user-driven solution to the market.
