Everything is out in the open, so it's easy to see what everyone is working on, what are the problems, and how to address them. Everyone on the team can weigh in on most issues and feel heard. The CEO is part of the technical team, so deadlines are realistic and any problems or delays that can appear during programming are easily explained and understood. Working remotely gives engineers agency over our schedules and the compensation is more than fair.
