Parallel careers

Our hypothesis is that music together is better. By syncing music between friends using their existing listening habits, we can create a more intimate shared experience that feels native. All a person needs to do is download Parallel on their Mac and listen to Spotify or Apple Music/iTunes like normal. We pick up the data in the background and broadcast it, allowing anyone to listen along at the same moment. Using this method, we don’t have to pay licensing fees and people can keep their natural music flow. We started with a Mac app, but will continue to spread the interoperability to all platforms (devices and music services) to become the top layer for listening to music together.
