NextGen supercapacitors that can scale energy voltage and power in unique form factors
Increased data connectivity and computing needs and shrinking device sizes, are all challenging battery performance and size. Supercapacitors, which are high pulse power energy storage devices, have been known to increase performance in high-energy batteries. However, available supercapacitors are too bulky to fit. The company’s proprietary high performance electrodes produce ultrathin supercapacitor devices that can conform around batteries, or fitted between or around design components, for use in wearables, InternetofThings, cloud computing and mobile consumer devices as lithium battery complement or replacement, to provide better peak performance, longer battery runtime, and smaller and lower cost devices. Our ultrathin cells conform and fit into unused spaces, allowing for exceptional design freedom for new products.
- Two complementary supercapacitor product lines – high energy PowerResponder™; high power PowerWrapper™
