By providing a common set of tools, we allow our users to exchange both goods and service with other reputable individuals in their local community. By using Pangea users are investing into their local community in a very real way by increasing job opportunities for individuals and enabling people to work solely for themselves. Pangea allows users to both generate supplemental income and receive tangible good or service they are in need of, in addition to being able to post requests.
This tool, Pangea, is manifested in a iOS app that is currently under development and refinement. We plan to beta-test the product this summer, and conduct a soft launch at Brown University at the beginning of the Fall semester.
