We are working with a top UI/UX team to design the next phase of the product. crunch times. AND YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE outside of just product development and revenue. We have 10 foundations and numerous educational institutions BEGGING us to use our science to help them measure the behavioral impact of their programs on the students over time. We have a simple prototype in trial now, but you will be involved in the design process for the "real" thing. The new stuff's not even on our website yet, but we already have over $100K in orders from just a prototype!!!. You will not just be given a bunch of tasks - you will influence the future of our company with your insights, ideas, creativity, and of course, your coding skills. We've got a great product now, so you should be comfortable diving into existing code with an eye to the future without needing to make the past your own. REQUIREMENTS: More than 3 years of experience building database-driven web applications using modern languages and frameworks. 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails application development, specifically. You must already know Ruby and Rails! Real-world experience with Postgres SQL databases, including being able to write and decipher pure SQL. Significant experience with object-oriented programming techniques and best-practices. Significant experience with test-driven development (TDD) using Rspec. Experience writing your own JavaScript code (as well as working with JQuery), and the ability to roll your own HTML and CSS. Experience with modern source-control systems, specifically Git.
