OrientDB is the Document-Graph Database for Enterprises. OrientDB has both features of Document Databases like MongoDB, but it adds the power of Graphs, like Neo4J, allowing documents to be connected and traversed in constant time even if the database becomes huge. The power of Graphs now can be applied to companies have complex domains. OrientDB comes in 2 editions:
- Community Edition, under the Open Source Apache business-friendly license (FREE for any purpose)
- Enterprise Edition, with a commercial license, add Enterprise class features to OrientDB
