Orange has created a solution that manages the cost of electric vehicle charging in multi-unit dwellings. Our first product monitors energy at each outlet installed in each parking spot and allows more people to charge than more costly higher current solutions. We collect payments from the electric vehicle owners based on the energy they consume and a small fee for our service. At the end of each month, we reimburse the property owner for the electricity used by the tenants. We are working on 3 tiers of charging infrastructure aims at installing the largest charging network where it’s most useful, people homes.
We know that more people would switch to an electric car if they were confident they could charge it. That’s why our first product scales no matter if you park on the street, covered parking spot, or underground parking garage.
