OpenUp careers

The core functionality of OpenUp is to play a conversation game with another person on a live audio call. Players take turns answering questions which are designed to dig deep into what makes them unique – their past experiences, their present values, and their future aspirations. What starts as an open-ended conversation guided by insightful questions ends in the establishment of a more meaningful connection between the players.

The latest release gives users the ability to create and join groups. Group games can be coordinated with the following: coworkers, family members, friends, religious groups, or any other special interest. The questions presented during the group games can be chosen from OpenUp’s list of over 250 questions or customized with user-generated questions.
