Open Hydro careers

Open Hydro is a platform where operators of electric utilities can assess climate impact on their assets using data that they gather about the performance and location of their assets. They can also calculate what is termed Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions (the emissions that they generate, their suppliers generated, and emissions within the value chain).

With this information, they can better report their potential to funders and raise the investment that they need to renovate or build new assets. What this means on a global basis is adding a lot more renewable energy capacity to better reach our net zero targets.

Our long term vision is to facilitate connections within the industry and with industry stakeholders like regulators and investors, to be the platform for all knowledge and data exchange about emissions reductions and climate impact mitigation for complex renewable energies.
