Onydo is an early stage mobile startup based in SOMA, San Francisco building an iOS app that helps friends easily get together. We are looking for a senior iOS developer to join our small team as the first full time engineer. This is the perfect opportunity for a self starter who is looking to take the next step in their career and wants to take ownership of building a product from start to end. Our ideal candidate would be someone who will use the app him/herself and share our vision for making getting together with friends a breeze. We are looking for someone who wants to get their hands dirty, work hard and manage a product completely. This position has the potential to grow quickly into a managerial role in the company. Though we are looking for a full time engineer who wants to build and grow with us, we are open to discussing a contract to hire situation for the right candidate. Job Responsibilities Write clean, stable, unit-tested code and accompanying documentation where needed Provide technical planning and development for iOS app Write and execute tests for written code Facilitate communication of technical matters among internal team (CEO and designers) Select, implement and manage bug tracking system Stay on top of evolving mobile technologies and companies in areas like portability toolkits, SDKs, and web technologies such as JSON, CSS, Javascript and HTML 5 Work closely with backend engineers to understand the server challenges, and assist in defining scalable APIs for the mobile client. Required Skills / Experience: 3+ years iOS development experience, expert-level coding experience with Objective C, with full command of the iOS device API Significant contributions / sole creation of at least 3 apps on the Apple App Store Experience writing a polished to-do list or diary app, or ability to do so in ~8 hours Excellent knowledge of the product development life cycle, with relevant experience in all phases Experience with task planning and estimating effort, ideally familiar with Agile devel
