ONL1204 is a small peptide inhibitor of Fas (CD95) signaling. It is in final clinical enabling studies ahead of First-in-Human studies schedule to begin by late 2018/early 2019 for the treatment of patients with retinal detachment.
Additional clinical trial planning is underway to treat patients with acute glaucoma and scheduled to begin in 2019 pending additional funding.
Preclinical in vivo data in multiple species also supports applications to treat age-related macular degeneration, and vascular eye diseases such as retinal vein occlusions, diabetic macular edema and diabetic retinopathy.
