We are turning Postgres into a complete application platform (or a runtime, if you will)

Postgres is a very widely deployed database loved by most of its users. Notably, its “compute” ecosystem has grown over the years; extensions range from Machine Learning and AI to GIS, support for multiple programming languages, API integrations, etc.

We close the gap by adding the “missing” components to Postgres, making it possible to run entire software systems within Postgres runtime. Components range from the HTTP stack, schema management, and container management to additional programming languages.

Special attention is given to Development, Debugging, and Deployment Experience (D3X), which is critical for any platform to be widely adopted. These are paramount to our vision. We make Omnigres experiences match those of the best in the industry. This results in a familiar workflow that is well supported by existing tooling.
