Ombitron enables Business Intelligence for the Internet of Things (IoT).  Business Intelligence consists of obtaining data, applying business rules, and performing actions based on those rules.  Traditionally these applications have focused on information readily available within databases or inside the “four walls”.  The next wave of Business Intelligence leverages data produced by remote machine endpoints that are part of the Industrial Internet of Things.  Ombitron provides a platform for building Business Intelligence applications for the Industrial Internet of Things.
