Olam, together with supply chain industry leaders, is introducing the Olam
platform that is aiming to become the de-facto infrastructure standard for
all stakeholders in the supply chain process. The platform automates current
paper based logistics, eliminating point to point Electronic data interchange
and paper contracts.
Once completed, the platform, with it’s standard protocol, will provide a
set of API’s that will easily enable new services, new business models, new
technologies and shipping methods to be offered to the platform users.
The platform neutrality is inherent to the governance by a not-for-profit
foundation with the trustiness of the Blockchain and additional privacy
provided by the platform.
