Oasis encourages ordering together, rapidly serving groups of college students, by targeting campus hotspots (called an Oasis) to lower fees and still pay couriers fairly. All this while providing a sustainable logistics solution via bikes, electric scooters and skateboards. Currently food delivery solutions such as Uber Eats, Grubhub, Doordash are very expensive in addition to increasing restaurant prices. Many times these services will deliver to shared housing, but not to on campus regions due to lack of data. If they do, they are slow and inefficent. Platforms that target college students, such as Snackpass have started to offer home delivery, however it is still very expensive. Additionally, Current popular on-campus solutions, like Duffl, are limited to groceries (snacks and essentials) and take business away from local restaurants and stores. Oasis aims to address these pain points by using logistics networks specifically targeting campus, adopt new social discount features, and by enabling local businesses and brands to expand their reach directly onto campus. We also see major marketing opportunities for emerging brands to utilize our network and get their products in front of eager, emerging consumers in universities.
