Nyata AI is a Bristol-born community companion app helping people find free meals, hot showers, local support services, community events, and trusted local providers through simple conversation.
We built Nyata AI because local help can be difficult to find, especially for people who need support quickly. Many services already exist in the community, but the information is often scattered across websites, posters, social media pages, and word of mouth. Nyata AI brings that support into one easy-to-use mobile app.
Our innovation is combining AI, local service data, mobile access, and community partnerships to make everyday support easier to discover. A user can simply ask what they need, and Nyata AI helps guide them to relevant local options.
Nyata AI is available on iOS and Android and is currently focused on Bristol, with plans to expand into more cities. We are founder-led, early-stage, and currently building through product development, local partnerships, press visibility, and community engagement rather than relying on large external funding.
Our culture is practical, ambitious, and community-first. We care about building technology that is useful in real life, not just impressive on paper. We value people who are curious, hands-on, socially aware, and excited about using AI to solve real local problems.
Founded by Ibrahim Maina, a UWE Bristol ITMB graduate, Nyata AI is built from lived experience, technical skill, and a strong belief that AI should help people access support, opportunity, and trusted services in their own community.
