Nyata AI is a hyperlocal AI companion that connects people with the support and services already around them. Say or type what you need, like a free meal today, a barber after work or a clean before you move out, and Nyata finds what's actually near you. It gives directions, a phone number or a booking paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Founder Ibrahim Maina built it after frontline work in welfare support, where he saw how hard it was for people to find food, showers, housing advice and community help that already existed. Nyata started in Bristol and is rolling out city by city. Each city gets its own charities, services, events, local providers and community chat.

Nyata is live on iOS, Android, Mac and WhatsApp, with voice input, read-aloud replies and multilingual support so nobody is left out. We have 661 daily active users, more than 8,000 messages answered, 400+ free-meal signposts and people in 46 countries (internal figures, Oct 2026). Developers can use the same local answers through the Nyata API.
