NowNear is a unique and simple platform that brings buyers and sellers together in a hyper-local marketplace. Now everyone can buy and sell anything, anywhere, instantly - right from their mobile phones.
We think of ourselves as the NASDAQ of local, mobile commerce. What does this mean? Simple, really – if you sell a stock on the NASDAQ, your transaction cost is pennies. So why is it that when you sell a textbook, your transaction costs are 25% to 50%? This is utterly shameful! So we took our knowledge of efficient markets and applied it to local, mobile retail.
