Our first app is a virtual chess coach. Every day, thousands of people download a chess app. But most of them have a bad time — they get beat by the computer, or see some unhelpful “hints” — and leave, frustrated.

Ninth Pawn’s coaching app will give them a friendly face, a winnable game, and helpful ongoing commentary that makes learning fun.
